What is Application Porting

Framework migration is updating programs written in dead languages like Borland Turbo C or Microsoft Basic 6. or classic ASP / VbScript to use modern languages and frameworks. Many old languages do not offer proper engineering and design practices for your software. Over time, the code grows like vines on a tree, choking off its life eventually. Sooner or later, your old programs authored in these languages will become so complex and so unmanageable that they your developers can't make sense of the code for modifications and service.
